Planning answers
Frequently asked
glass questions.
Clear guidance before measurement, fabrication, and installation.
When should custom shower glass be measured?+
After tile, stone, curbs, benches, and other surfaces touching the glass are fully finished. Final measurements must follow the actual opening.
How long does custom shower glass take?+
Timing depends on field readiness, design confirmation, glass and hardware availability, fabrication, and installation scheduling. Your consultation will establish the current sequence.
What makes an enclosure frameless?+
Frameless enclosures use heavy tempered glass for strength, reducing the metal framing around each panel and creating clearer sightlines.
Is 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch glass better?+
Neither is universally better. Panel dimensions, height, support, hardware, door size, and the complete configuration determine the appropriate thickness.
Can a shower door swing both ways?+
Some hinge and layout combinations allow inward and outward operation, but clearances, seals, hardware, and nearby fixtures must be reviewed for the actual opening.
Do you install aluminum-grid interior glass?+
Yes. Custom aluminum-grid glass can be designed for showers, offices, wine rooms, pantries, entries, doors, and interior partitions.
Who installs Texas Shower Glass projects?+
Measurement, fabrication coordination, and installation are provided by Euro Custom Glass Interiors, LLC.
Where do you work?+
The primary service area includes San Antonio, Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, Bulverde, Spring Branch, New Braunfels, Comfort, Kerrville, and surrounding Hill Country communities.
